Hi,

I have KPN connection from 2019. I leave in Uithoorn (Street : Marsmanlaan). Before December-2020, my connection was all okay. But from December onwards, it is horrible. I have a connection of 50 Mbps.

 

Download speed is never over 15Mbps and upload speed is less than 1 Mbps. This is impacting my daily work from home and caused multiple delays in my work executions.

 

I have called multiple times to the support center in January 2021 for the problem. I have been told, at worst I should have 30 Mbps and most of the support person agreed, this is not expected. In last few weeks, I have restarted, reset my modem multiple times, changed the modem (as sent by KPN). Ran wifimanager at least twice to thrice a day. Tested internet speed with LAN connection as well, but no improvements.

 

This morning, the support engineer informed, I cannot have more speed than 15 Mbps although I am paying for 50 Mbps. And if I am not happy, I should change provider. Easy to say in this manner, but the harassment and embarrassment I am going through for last few weeks, how can you ignore that. And if you cannot help, then why you asked me restart and run wifimanager for so many days, run to drop points, wait in calls and so on…..

 

I have also connected to the modem (http://192.168.2.254), it also shows speed as DS: 17Mbps, US:1 Mbps. May I know why I cannot have the promised bandwidth even after paying the full money.
