Long story short - I would like to get Wi-Fi 5 in my flat.

Long story -

I have an issue with my Wi-Fi connection while microwave is working. The microwave is built in, and it is located in the middle of the flat. KPN router is located at one end of the flat, while I work in the completely opposite side.

The thing is that microwave is using a frequency of 2450 MHz, just in the middle of 2.4 GHz diapason, and it is much more powerful than my Arcadyan Experia Box v8.

I already tried to use different channels of Wi-Fi, setting it manually, but still there is too much interference, making Wi-Fi unusable. I know for sure that the grounding (aarding) is done at my place, so I cannot do anything else from electrical part of view, and I do not want to break my walls to have another internet cable.

Furthermore, I also tried to set up a new ASUS router and connect it as the only router in the flat, working both in 2.4 and 5 GHz diapasons, but I had no luck with connecting to internet.

So, ideally, I would like to get a new router from KPN with Wi-Fi 5 support or, instead, have a possibility to connect ASUS router only to the socket in my wall.

Can I get help with this, or do you have other ideas?
