I want to use Fibreoptic Internet with my VPN on my current modem. Is this possible as I understand the KPN Modem cannot be put into Bridge Mode?

Hi Martin welcome to the KPN Forum,

No the Modem/Routers of KPN do not have an VPN client/server build in. But its possible to host an VPN server or use a VPN client on a device on your home network. For a Server you probably need to open some ports on your modem to make it reachable from the internet side.

If you don't have television from KPN this should not be a problem. The only thing is that your router needs to setup a pppoe connection on vlan 6.

Does the KPN Modem have a built in VPN?

If not, can a VPN be used in my home network?
