Own router (D-link DSR-1000AC) instead of the ExperiaBox

Hello everyone.

I have a D-Link DSR-1000AC dual band router and I have KPN fiber connection. Can I use the router instead of the Experia Box from KPN? If so do I need specific setup like username/ password upfront or anything else?

I also have TV from KPN if that matters.

Thanks for any advice or in advance

That D-Link will not be suitable for your connection because you also have TV from KPN and that means the router should be hosting a IGMP proxy server that can be connected to vlan 4.
