Problem with setup Ubiquiti AP Unifi U6+ 3.0Gbps with Box 12

Hey All,

I'm relatively new to the Netherlands, so I haven't quite picked up Dutch yet.

I'm having trouble connecting my new Ubiquiti AP Unifi U6+ 3.0Gbps with KPN  Box 12. Despite having superwifi 2, I lack power outlets in my ceiling and ports in my walls. To address this, I bought the Ubiquiti AP Unifi U6+ 3.0Gbps along with the Ubiquiti POE Adapter(POE-24-12W). However, even after connecting and plugging in the POE, my Ubiquiti AP isn't functioning. should i do anything else to make it work or buy any other equipment ?
