Hi, thanks for reading this in English.

 

I have received two emails from KPN warning me that my email account or my email address will change on 30 June  .... or something like that.

 

I am not  KPN customer and do not understand why I am receiving these emails.

 

These emails appear to be sent from KPN and do not ask me to reveal any personal information.

 

Please look into this.  My subscription is with Ziggo / Vodafone.

What is the exact address of the sender and was it sent to your @home.nl address?

What you could do is make a screenshot of the message and post that here. Please make sure you mask all personal information including your e-mail address as this is a public forum.

Have you ever had a subscription at KPN?

 


Long before I ever bought a smart phone I bought a phone through Kruidvat or Hema with a KPN pay as you subscription. This was probably more than 15 years ago.

For the past six or seven years my various smart phones have had yearly subscriptions with Vodafone.

 

I'm fairly certain the emails from KPN are legitimate.

The e-mail adres noreply@kpn.com is a legitimate adres.

It’s a strange thing.

@home is now part of Ziggo. So you don’t have to be worried that that adress will be stopped.


I found one of the emails that had been deleted.  It has to do with a KPN ID. 

It’s not my email address per se that will be deleted, it’s my KPN ID.
