Dear KPN Team,

am moving from my current address to a new address on 23rd December. I have 2-year contract with KPN. I am in a big problem as the speed of KPN at the new address is 53Mbit/s which is very low compared to 1 Gbit/s that I have in my current address and contract.

It is very important for me to have a high-speed network as my work is highly dependent on a high-speed network. I checked that Solcon (daughter company of KPN) provides upto 1 Gbit/s speed at the new location.

Question 1. Can you transfer the current contract to Solcon so that I retain the same speed and contract?
Question 2. Can you increase the speed by installing or making some other changes at new address.
Question 3. If KPN cannot provide the speed of 1 Gbit/s then my contract can be cancelled without penalty as they cannot provide the service I agreed for?

Hmm, 53Mbit/s is very very low compared to 1Gbit/s, I understand you're not to happy about this @Aditya6 😕

What does the ‘postcode check’ say when you fill in your new address? If it says there is no glasfiber connection, that will mean it's not possible to use the connection of a different provider. I'm not sure if this is a valid reason for a complete cancellation, since we did not change anything to cause the decreasing speed (you deciding to move house, does not mean we ‘agree’ to deliver the same speed at a completely different address) but I suggest you ask this question to one of my colleagues at our customer service. You can make a call appointment via our digitale assistent, I really hope it's not all bad and we can find a way to get you a better speed than 53Mbit/s!
