We paid the outstanding amount, but the BKR registration is still there
Hi,
Me & my girlfriend have paid the outstanding amount for our phone subscription on 02-11 & 05-11 and received confirmation that our BKR registrations will be closed in 5 working days.
So far they are still open and we can't get our mortgage approved. Furthermore, we also received an invoice for the next installment payment for the phone which is ridiculous. Your customer service told me to wait another 30 days → which is unacceptable as we will lose the house.
First thing: you are sure the BKR registration is actually open? When you pay off the outstanding amount, we will send you a confirmation of receipt and processing of the payment within five days of said processing. Then, we contact the BKR foundation to let them know the credit has been paid off. It is then up to them to process that on their side.
However, do be advised the registration itself, after closing, will still remain visible at the BKR for 5 years. A closed registration still visible there should not have any impact on getting a mortgage or other loan.
If the registration is still open, then our Collections department can look into this. For that, you will need to reach us via phone. You may call us yourself, or you can use this link to plan a call me now/later appointment. We will then call you back. Be sure to call us, or plan the callback during business hours, as the Collections department specifically is not available outside those hours.
@Erik van KPN, no unfortunately, my BKR registration is still open:
