I had said 30th September, but modem has arrived and I want to start using as soon as possible. Can I get subscription start date changed to today?

It's not just your end of the cable. Things have to be done on the other end. Once they're scheduled, it's rarely possible to move them to an earlier date.

You can phone customer support on 0800-0402 to check whether something is possible.
Open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, Saturday 8am to 5pm.
