Hello ! 

I need real help !! 
Technicals from KPN cut my cable during install module of optical internet and no one care about fix the issue.

Until the last Friday I used normall internet in my home but in this day to my house came guys with question about agree for install module of optical internet in my house (they came to my in random day after 3 times appointments for which no one came, without inform about change, professional guys 👏 ) so I said okay if finally they came better use this opportunity.

During their work I lost connect with internet. My husband reported it to them. They answered that no problem and everything is good and normally procedure. After 30 minutes they informed us about finish the installation module, my husband reported one time more that internet no work still. They said that all is good and internet will back in few hours. 

Of course didn’t back. After few hours we called for KPN service for the support. Next day they send to us another technician guy for make a investigation. After finished it the lady said that people who installed us this module cut our cable in ground for basic internet and she can’t do anything for us and she reported situation to the her specialist for send to us someone on Wednesday from morning for fix it. She informed us that all is confirmed and we don’t have to do anything jus wait.

Today is Wednesday I had to take day off in my work for wait of them. No one came ! No one call ! I and my husband called for KPN support and there said us that they understand us but they can’t do anything more for us that then send messages to company who installs optical cable internet with request about contact with us ! Informed us also that we have to wait for calling from there and they have 48 hours for it. Informed us that today someone should call to us because is the last day for it. No one called to us ! So KPN service informed us about send request one time more. 

No one from this company or KPN care about this case. We are no fault of this situation their people cut our cable but no one feels responsible for fixing it. For KPN is no problem that their costumer is without internet because their workers can’t installing correctly optical internet. 

Situation at the moment looks as KPN did all what could do sent the message with request and can’t promise when they will fix and connect us to internet back. We asked already even about change  the signal for optical but KPN inform us that they don’t know when will be available signal I my district exactly but probably with the plan will be in April next year !!! 😮

I can’t believe that I have to pay for something what I can’t use because company which I have to pay cut my cable and their don’t see a problem. 

I hopefully that someone here can help us with this ? Because we started think with husband about breach of contract with KPN from their fault because my husband needs internet to the work and we can’t wait still few days for call next time and hear that they can’t do anything for us and we have to wait for anything. No one call us, no one inform us and no one try fix it.

Hi @Martyna Kopycka, welcome! With the postcode and housenumber in your profile I have checked the status of the problem. It seems the engineer that we sent on the 9th of October has reported back that he did not have the tools to fix a broken cable. In-home engineers do not carry the type of equipment needed to fix this. However he has reported back and updated the service ticket to have a team sent to fix it. I see that you've contacted us earlier this evening and my colleague updated the ticket with the question if it's possible to inform you about what is going to happen. We will contact you as soon as possible.
