Can you activate a KPN connection without a monteur?

Sorry my dutch is not fluent.

Can you activate a KPN connection without a monteur? I have the hardware, I tried rescheduling as I would not be home. Only option was a week later.

I connected the internet, I get a greenlight but my internet is not activated. Is it possible to get the internet activated without the mechanic.

Also, what does the mechanic do when they are at home. Do they activate it manually?

Hi @dbasaq and welcome to our forum! Sometimes it's necessary for a mechanic to activate the connection.

You should’ve received an order confirmation when you ordered your subscription, in there it also states if a mechanic is necessary and, if so, why. For example, sometimes the access point in your home needs to be adjusted. That's something only a mechanic can do, so in those cases it's not possible to activate the internet without one. 🙂

Check your order subscription. If things are not clear there, fill out your forumprofiel and let me know!
