Connection restarts multiple times a day

Hi,

Sorry this post will be in English since I'm not able to speak Dutch at the moment.

I have a fiber connection installed around 15 days ago. I have been having
connection dropouts multiple times per day since then. I get interrupted at work, conference calls, etc. I've done everything, resetting KPN Box 12 to factory settings and turning off/on fiber optic box. I'm still getting the issue.

Ah alright, I've taken another look at the line and it seems that there's definitely a problem with the connection. I'm sending over an engineer to take a look at this. I've scheduled him as soon as possible which is tomorrow morning between 08:00 and 10:00. Does this suit you? We could reschedule to a different time slot if you'd like.

Hi @kpntors, welcome to our forum!
I've taken a look at your connection. My data shows your modem has done excactly 100 reboots yesterday but has been online for 15 hours now. This might point to a problem with the fiber connection but it's been stable for 15 hours now.
At this point the issue might also just be a wifi issue. Could you run our our servicetool the online wifimanager  and tell me what it conclusion it comes to? You can also post screenshots here if you'd like.

Ah alright, I've taken another look at the line and it seems that there's definitely a problem with the connection. I'm sending over an engineer to take a look at this. I've scheduled him as soon as possible which is tomorrow morning between 08:00 and 10:00. Does this suit you? We could reschedule to a different time slot if you'd like.

Hi @Thomas . Thank you for the follow up. The technician suspects it could be a wiring issue and I’m still trying to observe if that’s the case by using a different power socket in a different power line within the apartment. I could also use UPS if that doesn’t work. However, now I’m getting a different issue:

@kpntors Hi! How does it work for you now?

I have the same problem, but my KPN Box 12 power adapter is plugged in directly to the distribution panel, so there is not power lines or sockets in between.

The modem restarts periodically and it affects my work, cause it always just in the middle of the meeting. Super annoying.

@Thomas Please advice me what can I do with it.
