[English] Does my internet contract (50mbit) get automatically renewed once the 1 Year is over?

Hello everyone,

as the title states I would like to know if my internet contract gets automatically renewed after the one year contract is over.

Also if I were to cancel a contract, are there any timelines I have to follow? Like cancelation only works until 2 Months prior to contract expiration date?

No @Mark_R , your internet contract will not automatically renew for another full year. It continues as an open-ended contract with 1 month's notice. So if you want to cancel your contract, you can do so from one month before the fixed period of 1 year ends.

No @Mark_R , your internet contract will not automatically renew for another full year. It continues as an open-ended contract with 1 month's notice. So if you want to cancel your contract, you can do so from one month before the fixed period of 1 year ends.

Thank you @RBxx, that means if my contract officially ends on the 12 of October I’ll still have internet for one month and in this month I have to make a new contract?

No @Mark_R , you don’t have to. The fixed 1 year period ends, but your KPN internet contract will continue as an open-ended contract. Same price, same conditions. Only if you want you can cancel the contract with 1 month’s notice. Now or any time in the future.
