Hi there,
I received the router last week, the technician came this morning to my house and found no optic cable; and he left.  No communication received about the visit.

I checked on netwerk.kpn.com/netwerkkaart and found out that my neighborhood “is planned” for cable.  I am confused as KPN website (and other IPS websites) says that I have a cable.

Not sure what to do next?  I can replan a visit but it has no use.
If cable is not available, I am fine with 4G internet… I just need Internet.

Thanks

Hi @KokkieKE, I'm sorry to hear you did not receive any communication about your connection, after the technician left 😕

A few days have past and I hope you're a bit wiser now and/or properly connected! If not, please contact our network departement to ask for an update, they are available via 0880 06 37 44.

Indeed.  No feedback at all, what a mess.  I waited 10 days for this visit...
I checked on KPN website and next available technician was for 10th October, not before.

So, I solved the issue by calling customer care and cancelling my subscription with KPN.
Then I signed up a 2-year agreement with a competitor Z***o, got the router the next day and technician on 3rd October. Hopefully, I should be connected tomorrow, fingers crossed

I think KPN should be more cautious with new clients, KPN just lost a client who was willing to go for the full package (house internet + 2 phone lines).

Sad to see you leave, but I completely understand @KokkieKE 😥
