The internet connection is either unstable or non-existent in the evening. We have tried resetting and everything suggested.
Also even during the day the WiFi light on the Experia box 12 is blinking stays stable for about 2 seconds on and off and then keeps blinking but then the WiFi still works.
Could this be a problem with the equipment?

 

Would be very grateful for any advice.

A blinking wifi light usually is a sign of activity, so that shouldn't be a problem. Wifi is wireless, obviously, and the signal travels through the ‘air’: this means that the signal is sensitive for disruptions caused by other signals and wifi networks in your environment. This is why there isn't one solution that always fixes problems with a wifi connection. 

Did you test your internetconnection with a cable? And does that work as it should? This is the best test to check if your connection and modem are OK.

For improving your wifi connection, try our Wifi Manager. This is a servicetool that helps you to check your whole connection and will help you improve wifi. It is in Dutch though, so I hope you're able to translate it.
