Why am I being ignored?
Isn’t this Forum officially from KPN ?
I can see staff does “cherry picking” to the questions they feel like replying.
Can I please get some help with this situation?

Hi @vitor

This is a customer to customer Forum.

KPN moderators are present and they will react where necessary.

However, it's very busy so the reaction time will be several days.

Phone (0800-0402) or chat ( www.kpn.com/service ) is the faster option to reach KPN staff.

( I’m a custumer too. )

Hi @RBxx ,

thank you for your reply.

Several days for a reply? Shame that i can see they do reply to other questions on the forum that were added after mine.
So why cherry Picking” and not by order of ticket?

Is a moderator just a regular user or is a moderator a person being paid by kpn to help their customers on the forum and relief the pressure on the the phone line contact department?

A moderator is a KPN employee. Topics are processed in order of placement, but a topic might get priority when deemed appropriate. I hope your topic falls in that category.

When I see a English topic…

@Nick83 and why would that be? Is a foreign citizen money any different? Not sure I follow your reply but would deem it quite offensive and advise you to review that, in the times we live in a comment like that can be interpreted as offensive.

@RBxx thank you again for your reply. I would expect that to be the case also (order of placement) but My first question was yesterday at 09:00am and still no reply to that. I would expect a helpful service to a new customer to be faster … but maybe that is just me being naive.

Hi @vitor

As you’ve had contact with KPN support earlier, I assume your topic is not getting priority status. KPN staff here has access to the same information.

Please don't feel offended by Nick's comments, possibly fueled by his lesser English skills. His sense of humor is a bit different.

In dutch please. You are in the Netherlands on a dutch website. Learn the language of the country you live in.

@HGD could you kindly point me in the right direction to the contract page where KPN mentions that to be a customer I do need to speak Dutch?

Why do you jump to conclusions that just because I’m living in the country I have to learn the language? I might be placed here for work by my company for a short term.
Better off, what makes you believe I am not learning it but still not capable of technical conversation hence the use of english?

This website is a company forum and not a “hobby” forum, I’m not here to engage in occupational matters.

But I do understand you, nothing to do no one to speak to … let’s be patriotic!!! you are pathetic not patriotic!!!

Happy new year.

Hello @vitor ,

Welcome to the forums. As you can see in your original topic my colleague @Jose_ has already given you a reply. As people have been saying: it's very busy lately on the forums, so it will take some time for answers to be given. As stated, if you're in a hurry for an answer, it would be better to just call us. Sorry for the dissapointment the forum has given you.

Yes there are employees of KPN here, but no they are not cherry picking (or at least not in the way you think they are). KPN offers a wide variety of services and every employee has its own specialism. For example: i know a lot about security and e-mail, i know pretty much about internet, but i know nothing at all about mobile services or administrative things. So if i would dive into topics which would cover the last 2 mentioned subjects, it would be a complete waste of time for both me and the one asking the question. That goes for all my colleagues and that might be the reason you're seeing what you're seeing.

@Nick83 & @HGD  : KPN is supporting their customers in both Dutch & English. We do so on the phone, we do so on the chat and we also do so on the forum. Please respect that and refrain from placing inappropriate remarks like you do. Thanks.

@Raymondt thank you for your thorough reply, and thank you for your remark with regards to forum members unacceptable behaviour.

I have noticed @Jose_  reply to my original question.

Thank you.

Best regards

In dutch please. You are in the Netherlands on a dutch website. Learn the language of the country you live in.

Let's not get carried away. We’re living in the 21st century in an international environment with a lot of expats in our customer base. Also, English is one of the most spoken languages in the world. Number to 2 or 3 after Mandarin and Spanish if I'm not mistaking. Be kind if you feel the need to respond in these topics. :relaxed:

Vitor, please bare with Jose. She'll get around to it. Of course you can always reach us by phone, the number is 0800 0402.
