I have a Google Pixel 1 which technically supports WiFi calling (VoLTE).

However, I am not able to use this functionality. That's because KPN has decided not to enable this functionality for phones like mine.

The reasons behind this decision are unclear and unsatisfactory.

They mention that it's an "imported phone", which doesn't mean anything. To me it sounds like KPN does not want to put any effort into phones that are not popular enough (or phones that are not sold by them). I would like to get a better explanation.

(By the way, I have checked all options on the phone, I have read articles about it on the internet, so I don't need help about what menu to open and what option to click.)

In short: my phone technically supports VoLTE, why does KPN artificially disable it for me?

VoLTE is something different than VoWiFi, so which one do you mean?

In the end KPN will have to support all phones for VoLTE as they will end 3G.
