Can I switch my company plan to a prepaid so I can keep my number?

Hello, 

I used to have my own personal subcription when I lived to the Netherlands, my employer allowed me to join KPN under their company plan. I still worked for them remotely, but now I am quitting and I will want to keep my old number. They have allowed me to take my old number back, but there is an issue.

As I am not an EU resident and my Dutch visa will expire, I would like to have a prepaid plan instead to keep my old number. Is this possible?

Yes that's possible. Ask your boss to arrange that.   

But you have to update your account every six months. Otherwise: Your number get lost.

Yes that's possible. Ask your boss to arrange that.
