Constant interruption of mobile internet on Redmi Note 11

Hello,
I apologize for writing in English, but I don't speak Dutch. I have the following problem: I have been using my phone, which is a Redmi Note 11, as a hotspot for more than 1 year. And until yesterday morning everything was fine and dandy. Since then, the internet speed has decreased, but that is not the main problem. The main problem is that the connection keeps dropping for a few seconds at a time. And it's very annoying. Everything is just going well and suddenly in a few seconds the connection breaks. Then it recovers on its own. Needless to say how annoying it is and how much it gets in the way when playing online or watching F1 for example - as it is now. I tried everything - restarting the phone, changing the places of the sim cards. My other sim card is Odido and it doesn't have this problem, but I can't use it like this because it's another package that's not unlimited. I talked to an operator from KPN 2 times, they made me make settings in APN, but it does not help. I haven't changed or done anything - it's just that since yesterday morning things have gotten rough. Can anyone help? Please!

Welcome to the community @DiStefano_BG, a dropping connection is always annoying, but while watching F1 it is even more so. You've tried the sim in a different slot on the phone, have you also tried the sim in a different phone? I'm curious if the problem follows the sim, or stays with the phone. If it follows the sim to the other phone, the first logical step would be to replace the simcard. This can be done online on our website, and the sim will be dfelivered to your address in 3-5 days. Alternatively you can go to a KPN Store, they can give you a activated simcard diretly.

Same problem again today. The interesting thing is that my wife's phone is like this too. Everything that is described about restarting the phone, changing the places of sim cards, APN settings and others, and others, and others does not help !!!
Why doesn't it help?!
Because the problem is in your transmission network !! The problem is in the KPN !
I don't know why you are wasting my time waiting for calls from you and making me do things that don't help. As you know very well that the problem is in you!
And today it's good that I have another card of another operator, thanks to which I watched the F1 race.
Now, because the Internet is paid for on my other card, and it is expensive, I want to know how you will compensate me!
Every 5th of the month or thereabouts, you have a direct debit from my bank account and you get your money regularly! Now that I have received the bill from the other operator - I will present it to you so that you can pay it. Just as I give you money every month without a problem for a service that is of contradictory and questionable quality, so you will now pay for the internet that I use from another operator! I think that's fair.. Right?

It's not only F1 .. Just the speed for couple of hours drops to below 2 megabits per second or its gone completely.. And repeats .. It's driving me crazy..

Do you have a postcode of your area? Because Zeist is to general.

It could be related to radio capacity or coverage in your area.

You should have good coverage in your area. It could be a capacity problem but a kpn moderator should answer that question.

It sounds like you've tried the tips in my previous reply, without success. That is a shame. In that case it's best to call us at 0800-0402. A colleague will be able to take a look into it with you on the phone and if necessary they can create a ticket for the specialists to dive into it further.
