iPhone got stolen while abroad, do I have insurance?

Hello my iPhone was stolen when travelling in London. The phone is still under contract, does the phone have any insurance coverage that can help me recover the loss? I have filed a police report and have the report claim.

It's only insured when you opted for an insurance (costs extra every month) during ordering, if you didn't do that then it's not standard insured via KPN. Maybe you could claim it on your travel insurance?

Thanks, not sure if I selected it :( thought since its still under contract where I am paying for the phone there maybe some coverage?

No, unfortunately for you there isn’t any standard coverage for theft or if you break it, doesn't matter if you are still paying for the phone or not.

That’s why they offer that insurance.
