Hi,

Today we went to KPN Breda XXL to buy a phone with subscription. 

What we have:

-One year KPN Hussel abonnement

-Permanent contract

-5 years valid resident permit

-A house with a mortgage

What we don’t have:

-Dutch Passport

Result:

As we are Turkish, We couldn’t buy a phone. The salesperson called KPN Client Service, He/She said to him that we have risk because of our nationality and he/she cannot take this risk. So, the question is How&Why should we use KPN? After 6 months, when we are done with our contract with KPN, we will not continue with you.

Hello @onuralp, thank you for your message. I am afraid there must have been a misunderstanding. As long as you have a valid resident permit, you are allowed to get a mobile subscription with KPN. However, we always check if you're eligible for a loan when you want to buy a phone with your subscription. You can always get a loan for your phone of 10 euros a month without any problems. If you want a more expensive phone, you'll have to pay the remaining amount up-front. This is due to a new law that we have to follow. You are of course more than welcome to get a mobile subscription with us. You can place an order in one of our stores.
