VoWifi not working on iPhone 8 outside of EU

I have iPhone 8 purchased in Netherlands, and account with KPN. Right now I am outside the EU and want to use Wifi Calling function. The system says that I am not on wifi network- but I am. The wifi calling function is activated in the phone’s settings. Why I can’t use it? I was really counting with it when travelling. Any suggestions, please?

Hi @WIFI CALLING  KPN supports wifi calling only on Dutch internet connections.

Outside the Netherlands you must use mobile networks.
