I can't change DNS on KPN box 12b

Apologies for the English! My KPN box 12b is running software version: V12.c.23.04.39 and I’ve been trying to change the DNS server my router uses, but the option to change the server is greyed out.

A different post had a solution that consisted of unticking some box, but that box is not available anywhere as far as I can tell. How can I alter the DNS server of my router, and ideally also set up a secondary DNS server address?

Login to your V12.

Select "Internetverbinding" in the menu.

Select the tab "DNS".

Voila, there is your tickbox.

Login to your V12.

Select "Internetverbinding" in the menu.

Select the tab "DNS".

Voila, there is your tickbox.

And keep in mind there is still an active bug in .39 version with DNS. When changing the range of the DHCP addressing the (greyed out) DNS can be changed along by going to the menu option wjb mentioned , untick the dns proxy tickbox than save. Tick dns proxy and save again. If you go again back to DHCP settings the greyed out DNS should have changed now.
