I had to stay away from Europe for a few months for work and I’ve just noticed that I’m not receiving confirmation sms anymore. Is it possible that my number was blocked?

I see you've added your number to your profile. This number looks healthy and should work just fine! Maybe it can help to reboot your phone or connecting to a different local network.
Keep in mind that not using your number will eventually cause your number getting blocked and de-activated.
If you havent used your number (by making a call, sending an SMS message, using data or topping up your credit) for 9 monhths your number will first be blocked and then de-activated.
After 9 months it will not be possible to recover your number.
Before that would happen you will also get several text messages warning you of this.
