Got a new connection for internet, and while setting the connection up it, the glasvezel (fibre optic) box Alarm turned red. 

The internet was supposed to be starting on 24th. When I called the support said that internet is not active yet from KPNs side so it's displaying red in the Alarm box. Also,  they said that I'll receive a message once the internet is started from their side. (Still haven't received any communication regarding this).

I contacted again on 25th and they said a technician will probably call in next 3 days and didn't provide me any ticket number. 

Now I am stuck with this bs box with no internet and I don't understand what to do. 

Please let me know if someone knows how to fix this. 

Thought it would be safe to go with KPN, being a big network provider. :)

 

 

Hi, with this link you should be able to see the status of the technician. If there is no information the only solution in this situation is to call KPN again (0800-0402), explain the situation and say that you need a technician.

I see a message: We see that there has been contact before. Maybe you just had an appointment. Otherwise something is wrong. 

Do I need to book an appointment with the technician now? And I assume it is a paid service. 


I would call them and make a new appointment. The appointment will always be free except when you broke something yourself. But that’s not the case from what I can see. 


Thanks @DaveA . Yeah I called them again and they have raised an internal ticket with the team and hopefully the issue will be fixed. 

All I can do is be patient now.
