Subject: Trapped by KPN cancellation system – Unfair barriers for foreign customers

Message:

Hello,

I am trying to cancel my KPN contract, but the online cancellation form blocks me at the final step solely because I do not have a Dutch bank account.

I am providing all the correct details, including my contract number and personal information. The system fails exclusively on the bank account requirement.

This is completely unacceptable and frankly absurd:

  1. Double standards: A Dutch bank account was somehow not required when signing up for the service, but suddenly it is mandatory just to cancel it?

  2. Artificial barriers: This design appears to be intentional—blocking foreign customers from cancelling their contracts online and forcing them into a dead-end loop.

  3. Legal concerns: Making it unreasonably difficult or impossible for valid customers to terminate their agreements violates consumer protection standards.

I demand a clear, working alternative to cancel my subscription immediately without being forced to use a Dutch bank account or a local phone number. How do I finalize this cancellation today?

Regards,

By the way. I think you mean a Dutch phone number.

Cancel by calling. That always works. Call 0800-0402. Call back is all so possible, but only with Dutch phone number.

Kpn can only be paid by bank account. So you must have a bank whitch works with kpn.
