Received email that "My data was changed", I have not changed anything

I received an email that claims I have changed some of my data. I have not. I tried to find a support area to get help with this (was I hacked? Is this Phishing?), but was unable to.

Any idea what to do with this? I made no changes.

Ow, I see. I thought you had adjusted that for privacy reasons. Could you please forward the email as an attachment (not just a forward) to valse-email@kpn.com? So my colleagues can investigate it.

Thank you for taking the time to post this here.

Hi @Gessi, welcome on our board.

Very good that you're letting us know this has occured. So you don’t recognize the number in the email? When you log in to Mijn KPN, do you see the correct phone number listed there? Would you please check this?

Hiya Alex!

Yes, as you can see, the number looks like a fake number (12345678, seriously, that’s what the email says).

Je gegevens

Naam:

My name!

Telefoonnummer:

0612345678

E-mailadres:

My email!

Adres:

My correct address

Mobiel abonnement:

Klantnummer(s) -as given-

Geboortenaam:

Correct birth name

On the app and website, the number is not any different. Under Inloggegevens on the website, my personal email and my correct mobile number ending in 62 are still entered. There was also no message of anyone fraudulently attempting to log in.

The email reached me yesterday at 8:02 in the morning, seemingly out of nowhere.

The short email confirmation seems to not have gone through a bad mailer:
