Request to recover lost SIM Card and reactivate phone number

Hello, good afternoon,I’m reaching out to ask whether the phone number is still active or linked to my account.I was hospitalized and recovering in Portugal for an extended period, and during that time I lost my SIM card. This number is very important to me, as it is connected to my DigiD and other official services in the Netherlands.I would like to know if it’s still possible to recover or reactivate this number on a new SIM card.Thank you very much for your assistance.

I hope you are well! I checked the number you mentioned but I'm afraid it has expired. There is no way to recover this number.

If it would not have expired yet you could have followed the steps below.

We have specific page for requesting a new sim-card. you however dó need the sim card number of the previous card.
The card does expire if there's no calls or messages for a couple of months.
