When will I receive my Philips TV welcome gift?

I recently chose to join the KPN family with a home internet subscription after the sales agent specifically informed me that I would receive a 55-inch Philips Ambilight TV as a welcome gift within two weeks.

My contract began on February 3rd, 2026, and I was told I would receive an email by February 17th to order the TV. It has now been over three weeks since my contract started (and I am already actively using the modem), yet I have received no email, no update, and no communication regarding the promised TV.

I have contacted KPN customer service several times. Each time, I was redirected to the third-party company responsible for distributing the gifts. Unfortunately, they were unable to provide a consistent or satisfactory explanation.

  • On my first call, they confirmed they had my details in their system but were still waiting for KPN to approve the order.
  • On my next call, they informed me that the TV was out of stock and they could not tell me when it would be available again.

This situation has become extremely frustrating. It now feels misleading, almost like a tactic used simply to bring customers in.  KPN has not fulfilled the offer that influenced my decision to sign up, and at this point, I would hesitate to recommend these promotional deals to anyone.

Hi ​@Biram, welcome to our community! I'm afraid I don't have a different answer than my colleagues but I understand this is all very frustrating.
I can assure you you'll get your TV if our partner confirmed that for you. For any information about the status you'll have to speak to them though. 

I hope the TV's are in stock soon!
