Today I received mail, that my KPN internet was activated as I ordered it last week. I received Modem and this other box (FTU as I assume) before. I connected it properly as showed in KPN guide movies.
When I switched on FTU, first it showing “alarm” red light for few seconds, and then green lamp “connection” is constantly blinking as there was no signal in it. Modem is spreading WIFI but with no internet access.
I guess that I installed FTU on fibreoptic switch correctly, it clicked and of course I removed this black protection cap before.
Also, I guess that cables are ok - previous tenant of the house also used KPN internet and few days before my arrival everything was ok - but he returned all hardware to company.
KPN application troubleshooting says, that there are no interruptions in my area and that I should order repairmen.
Unfortunately, KPN application is not quite foreigner-friendly. I am trying to find phone number to helpdesk, but all I can do is order phonecall, which I actually can’t since I don’t have dutch phone number.
I was trying to order mechanics through app, but I can’t as it keep showing me that there was some error and recommend to order them by phone call - so I’m in dead end.
Are there any other way to solve the problem - like direct KPN helpdesk mailbox or other?
