Frequent unstable and slow internet connection since 2 weeks

Hi,

In the latest two weeks my internet connection stability significantly worsened, with frequent periods of very slow connectivity. 
I already did the troubleshooting, restarting multiple times the modem, signal check, ensured only one device was connected, did the online check.

When the connection slows down it reach unacceptable levels with pages / services going in timeout.  
 

What can be done further, the instabilities are becoming getting too frequent.

It’s unfortunate that your internet connection has been so unstable over the past two weeks. You have already taken the right steps, such as restarting the modem, checking the signal, and limiting the connection to a single device.

Since the issues are persisting, I recommend having a line check performed. This can be arranged through KPN customer service by scheduling a callback. After testing your connection, they can find an appropriate solution or schedule a technician to check if there is a fault or problem with your line.

Hi,

writing here again out of growing frustration with KPN both because of the poor internet quality I've been experiencing in the latest three weeks and because my earlier forum post has been completely ignored.

In short:

  • Unstable internet connection: frequent drops, sudden slowdowns, and unreliable performance. Modem restarted multiple times, wifi signal is OK, the issue is network side to and from the ISP.
  • Speeds below expectations: what I get in practice is far from what I'm paying for, I know it's copper, still not nice to pay for X and get not even half of it.
  • Last attempt to use this forum, the previous post has been ignored.

At this point, since this is not the first time it happens, I am seriously reconsidering whether to stay with KPN.
