I've received my modem and connected to the line but cannot access the internet

Hello everyone, I’m trying to set up my KPN home internet for the first time. I’ve received the modem from the KPN and connected it to the DSL line at home. When I log in to the modem page everything looks okay and the modem reports that I’m connected but I can’t access any page on the internet. I believe KPN needs to enable my connection but I got a date for 5 days later. What’s stopping KPN from activating my connection? Can an employee from KPN activate my connection earlier remotely?

Hello ​@OmerFaruk81, thank you for choosing KPN! 💚 I understand you're eager to get started. However, I have to ask you to have a little patience. We send the KPN modem and other appliances a few days prior to the installation date. This way, you have time to figure out how to install your modem, so that when it's time, you can easily connect it. On the installation date you have received from us via email, we will connect you to the internet. This process cannot be sped up, unfortunately.
