Internet 750 instead of 1000 Mbit

I have the same problem, the internet is slow, it only works at 750 instead of 1000 and for 2 months now nobody is doing anything about it ... I am an IT specialist, I know what to do and I know that it is not my fault or the fault of my equipment, I have a computer worth 10,000 euros and it is not a problem, the problem is you, your reset programs and the same repetitive talk, reset the modem, remove the cable and other such scams, you can take them under your pillow to your home, please restore my transfer to 1000mb, if not, please give me my money back in 2 months because it only worked at 750mb and when someone calls me, it would be nice if they called longer and not just gave a signal that they called and then they didn't give a damn ... unfortunately, if you don't fix this, I'm giving up, I'm going to Odido at least they don't lie... and I am I have been your client for 4 years so no bonuses or other promotions new clients have bonuses at the level of 50% and this is also a scam because when my subscription ended and I want to take a new one with this bonus 50% cheaper what turns out is only for someone who has never had a contract with KPN total scam I will also record a video on my YT channel how you cheat people so good luck with your clients I wish you luck!!!

No, it's not the result of any update, they just slowed down my transfer, they messed with something and broke it, I won't pay for 750mb, if they don't fix it I'll take them to court because it's theft!!!!

 * Connect a computer directly to the KPN modem/router using a high-quality Ethernet cable (CAT 5e, CAT 6, or higher).

 * Ensure the computer's network adapter is capable of gigabit speeds and is properly configured.

 * Close all other applications and devices that might be using bandwidth on your network during the test.

 * Use a reliable speed test service (like Ookla Speedtest, preferably connecting to a local KPN server if possible, or the one recommended by KPN).

However, more importantly, are you aware of the terms and conditions you agreed to when signing the contract with KPN? Like most internet service providers, KPN's contracts typically state a minimum guaranteed speed, not just the maximum "up to" speed. Based on regulations and standard practices, this minimum is often set at a percentage of the advertised speed, frequently around 75%.

In your specific case, receiving 750 Mbps on a 1000 Mbps line means you are getting exactly 75% of the advertised speed (750 / 1000 = 0.75).

Therefore, while it's understandable you'd prefer to see speeds closer to 1000 Mbps, based on the likely contractual obligation of KPN to deliver at least 75% of the advertised speed, they are currently meeting their minimum commitment to you.

Because KPN is likely fulfilling the minimum speed guarantee stipulated in the contract you signed, pursuing legal action solely on the basis of not reaching the full 1000 Mbps (while receiving 750 Mbps) would likely not be successful in court, as they are meeting their contractual obligation.

and I'll tell you smartass that it's bullshit because I had 950 / 950 before the update of the experia v10 modem and what a smartass I have the strongest category 6 cables and don't be too smart that it's supposed to be like that because it wasn't like that they cheat customers and I'll record a long video on my YT so good luck because I'm running to odido and I'll tell you straight, much better internet offers and everything and other and what can't be said about zigo KPN are simply thieves!!! I would like to get my money back for 250 mb of lost transfer!!!! If not we'll meet in court!!! for 250%!!!!!


and I'll tell you one more thing that it's even below the declared minimum speed so I have photos and tests from the KPN

website, please, very clean!!!

You do know that this is a community so customers can help each other? You want help but if somebody even tries to help you, you immediately start cursing... Nobody will help you with an attitude like that. 


because you can't do anything about it man what are you playing mother teresa on this forum!!! if I buy a 1000mb subscription then I want 1000mb even if I have 950 it's a loss 50 is ok but if I have 500mb download and 920 upload then who's the idiot here and how not to swear???? you can do business on old geezers!!! you won't do business on me I'm giving up everything and I'll even record a film for my YT good luck!!!


and I'll even add that after my reaction the transfer dropped from 750 to 500 mb, that will be a beautiful report on YT!!! simply wonderful!!!

Maybe the browser is the limiting factor? Have you tried it with an actual speed app like the app from windows? 

But please read the community house rules
