Internet light keeps blinking on my modem

I have connected the router in the closet area where the power and ethernet are blinking green. I have connected modem in my living room where the power and wifi are green, but Internet is blinking green. I have the following connections in my living room SLK, PC ethernet 1, 2, 3 and 4. I have tried to connect the WAN cable in all of these ports one by one. But the Internet light is still blinking

What KPN router do you have, EB V10, V10A, Box 12 or 14?

Connected to what, DSL connection point or Fiber optic modem?
Is the internet led green there and does the internet work then?
Did you get a message that the connection should work, if not you'll have to wait until you have received that.

Where do the cables of those connection ports come from, probably they are (or have been) connected to a switch somewhere, maybe also in de closet area?
