Is it possible to move the fiber connection inside my appartment?

My new Fiber optics connection is placed in my Metercupboard which is outside my apartment. The new setup need the ethernet cable to connect to modem from new fiber optics connection point. But since its outside, my wifi coverage is very weak. Before i had Ziggo and i used to keep the modem in my living room. Is it possible to brin the fiber optics connection point inside the living room or any other way it can be arranged?. I want to keep my Modem inside living room near my smart tv and work station for better connectivity.

Moving the fiber optic connection is not handled by us but by KPN's network division. We are the provider and are separate from the network.

You can request the relocation as described on this page: I want to move my fiber optic connection, is that possible?

Please note that moving the connection is not free; there are costs involved.

I hear this happening more in apartment complexes. Location often decided by the buildings owner.

Is there a (unused) cable tube from this external metercupboard to your apartment? Then you can feed a networkcable (cat 6) through this tube and place the modem in your home, as you wish. The only thing outside will then be the fiber connectionpoint with the black “glasvezelkastje” slid over it.
