I want to setup a custom local DNS server, but my KPN Box 12 always puts a KPN 2a02:a454:e314:0:365d:9eff:fe4a:1b80 server as a first one in IPv6. I don’t know how to disable it properly.

Thank you for you reply @Alexandra van KPN

I have a perfectly fine working DNS server. THe issue is with the router only, no matter what settings I set, it always adds IPv6 address of KPN DNS server no matter what I set.

This is what I set: (obviously without *, I just hide it for the screenshot)

But the router still provided me an additional IPv6 that is not set there.

Luckily, after reboot of the router problem was solved, so I guess this eaxt ticket could be closed

Hi @grbit, I can help you with getting to the settings (take a look at our Kennisbank), but as a moderator I cannot help you with the settings for a custom DNS server.

Maybe this answer, posted by @wjb  in another topic, is helpful, or maybe he (or someone else in our Community) has some advise for you!
