My modem is too far away from the fibre optic connection

The installers put the fibre optic port too far away from the modem. If I was to connect them, the cables would be going across the hallway. Is there a way to sort this out?

Hi ​@Charlie Jermyn, welcome to the community. A longer cable is a possible solution, it's also possible to move the modem to the fibre connector. From there you can connect other devices in your home to the modem.

Hi ​@Charlie Jermyn, welcome to the community. A longer cable is a possible solution, it's also possible to move the modem to the fibre connector. From there you can connect other devices in your home to the modem.
