The fiber technician installed the modem outside the house, very bad signal now inside

KPN sent a mechanic to setup fiber optics at our home and he moved our router outside of the house. Now we don’t have good wifi connection. Internet is almost not usable. I talked to customer support many times and they did not help. The last one told me to move to another provider without offering anything helpful. They told me that they can send another mechanic to  fix their mess but i have to pay 100 Euros for that. Seriously? I made a complain for the mechanic because he lied to use, he said the fiber single will take some time to get there. KPN making me pay 59 euros per month and not providing any service or support.

Explain “moved our router out of our house” ?? 🤔 

it is now in the garden or where is it ? 🤓

For good wifi you best buy (lease) a Superwifi unit (see below).

Try to connect it with a cable to the router for best results. If a cable is not possible it works wireless as well but less than optimal.

Where excactly did the mechanic placed the router? I honestly can't believe a mechanic actually did this but maybe I misunderstood? My advice in this case would be to file  complaint regarding this matter and therefore you can use this form. Will you share the outcome here with us please?
