Why do I only reach 220MBps with 4Gbit/s fiber only?

Hello KPN,

I switched from Ziggo to KPN with SuperFiber 4 since 12-March-2025.

i know 4Gbps is an ideal speed may not always happen. But I can only have a 220 Mbps speed now. this is bit huge gap as your advertisement.

Is there anything need to be setup to release more speed?

And my TP-Link Deco 60 is connected to LAN Ethernet 10Gb, but it only provides 1Gbps option. which is also much lower than expected.

When you expect 4 Gbit/s, getting only 222 Mbit/s is somewhat disappointing, @LyonHuang. Did you do the speedtest via wifi or via LAN? Because this makes a huge difference. The speed via wifi will always be lower than when you use a cable.

If this is the speed you get via cable, I'd advise you to read this article: Snelheid te laag bij KPN Glasvezel? Doe de check!.

the Deco X60 only has 2 gigabit ports. so it wil never be able te reach more than 1gbit speeds.

also the KPN Box14 has an build in speed test. can you run the speed test within the box14 the see what speeds you really get.
