Can I deactivate the sim code requirement?

The sim code is a mandatory code that is used to "access" the sim card. Its not possible to disable it completely (I also recommend heavily against making it as easy as possible considering anyone with a sim card could effectively call 0900 numbers with your phone number if you lose your phone, which can result into extreme costs).

      Hi @Malka, welcome to our Forum!

      You can partly disable the code, but not in its entirety as indicated by Sjors. It depends on your device, but often you can find this option through settings> security and privacy. What is the reason you want to disable this?
