If I switch to a new provider while under contract, can I take my number? Will there be an additional fee?

I have an KPN customer from 08-02-2024 and my contract end date is 07-02-2026.i want to move another provider before this date just round about 20 days before than what effect on my termination cost or any type of cancellation fees implement on me from KPN or not ?

Welcome to the community ​@Atif Hayee! If you end your contract before 07-02-2026, there may be early termination fees. This is usually the cost of the remaining days of your subscription. 

If you switch via your new provider’s switching service (overstapservice), your cancellation is usually handled automatically by your new provider. Any applicable fees from KPN would still apply.

Because there is a notice period of 1 month it is now not possible to end your contract with kpn before 7 februari. 8 februari is the first date your connection can go via a new provider.

So you don't have to worry about extra costs.

You can now make a contract with “nummerbehoud” at a another Dutch provider. They will do the rest.
