My phone number is used by spammers and people keep calling me back

For the last three months, I keep receiving random calls from people saying that I have called them.

The frequency of these calls is now increasing to 3 to 4 times a day. This is very inconvenient for me, please advise how I can stop spammers using my phone number to call other people.

It's called spoofing. You can't do anything about it, your provider can't do anything about it either. The only thing that you can do is to get a new telephone number.

    It's called spoofing. You can't do anything about it, your provider can't do anything about it either. The only thing that you can do is to get a new telephone number.
