Not receiving activation text to activate sim

Hi

Can you please activate my SIM card I bought in shop in Netherlands I am not receiving the activation txt with the code.

    What kind of sim card is this, prepaid or a subscription? If a subscription, is this a new one or did you renew it. And last, did you keep an existing number or did you get a new one?
