Struggling to activate simcard

Hi I got the sim card by mail and I am struggling to get it started. I got an activation code on message.  Added all details buy no success.  Also restarted my phone

Are you moving your subscription (with number retention) from another provider to KPN?

If that’s the case:

KPN will consult with the old provider to determine the transfer date, taking into account a notice period of 1 month. KPN will then send you an email with this date (subject: "Nummerbehoud is goedgekeurd") and KPN will cancel the old subscription in your name.

Until the transfer date, you will use the SIM card of the old provider and only on that date will the KPN SIM card become active with your number. Then your subscription with KPN will start.
