Modem: box 12. I get to the access page, input the login password, it doesn’t work. I’ve reset the router and used both edge and chrome as browsers. Says the password is incorrect. It’s the same password that’s on the back of the router.

According to this site:

you have to press the reset button for at least 15 seconds, and you are good to go.

 

Did you do that?

as mentioned in the original post, yes, I have reset my box 12.

Hi @OnitGK, welcome on our community. 

Are you sure the password is being entered correctly? That you're not accidentally typing a 0 as an o? Or that there's a capital letter in the wrong place by accident?


There’s a QR-code on the back of the V12 modem. If you scan this with your android mobile, it opens a note file where you can see the login details. With an iPhone it opens in the browser URL bar. That way you know for sure that you enter the correct one. 


The password is 100% correct, tried all possible variation, I literally copypasted it from a word do just in case something weird was going on by inserting it directly in the login box. I’ll try and see what the QR code says.


I'm wondering if you succeeded with the QR code, could you please giva us an update. 


My android phones see the QR code but they won’t open any link. Back to square one I guess.


Strange, did you tried a QR-code scanner app?


I used the inbuilt camera app, that reads QR scanners normally.


Did you also try all of these 3 options? If not, woould you please try them? 

Would it also be possible to try another QR-code app?
