How do I install a new modem on my fiber connection?

you got a modem and a fiber optic module in your package. you cross the fiber optic module over this connection

Just a modem, power cord and an ethernet cable.

that won't work without a fiber optic module. or is it maybe dsl. what does it say in your welcome letter what the type of connection is

for fiber optic you need this module. and for dsl one of these connections
