Hello,

I got my new KPN router yesterday  and when I activated it, all things went smooth. After a couple of restarts, the internet was coming. The light on the service indicator of the router stayed RED all the time and it is still RED. I have tried restart and usual troubleshooting but it does not seem to work. I also tested my bandwidth and it is coming to 25MBPS for download and 2 MBPS for upload which is way less than expected. Can you please help me resolve this.

Regards

Himanshu

Hey @HISuri and welcome to the KPN Community!

For problems with your connection, you can get immediate support if you call our helpdesk. That is better in such situations. The easiest way is via a callback appointment at a time that suits you best!

Are you still having problems? Do you have a fiber optic or a DSL/copper connection? In both cases I recommend a reset of the Experia Box, but in the case of fiber optic, you should also disconnect the fiber optic box from the power for 2 minutes. It’s best to do this before you reset the Experia Box.

And how did you test the speed of your connection? Via WiFi or via an internet cable. Only via the cable you do get a good idea of the incoming speed.

I had tried calling but the wait time is too long and it gets disconnected. I will try again.

You still don't have troubles with your connection? That's very unfortunate. You can also try to use our online servicetool to check your connection. If there is something wrong with your connection, you can book online a mechanic to come by your house.

Furthermore, you can reach us by phone for malfunctions at any time of the day. We are open 24/7 for this. So maybe you can try again at a later time.
