IPTV device works on KPN hotspot but not on KPN wifi

2. Welke KPN modem/router heb je?
3. Werkt het wel goed met een UTP kabel?

I have philips Ambilight tv. Its a IPTV named as guruiptv where they have a device connected via HDMi with TV.

I have KPN Box 12

not sure what is UTP cable

KPN Box12 is the modem/router. 

UTP kabel is the cable between KPN tv receiver and the Box12 (always much better dan WIFI)

But which KPN tv reciever do you have?

I think the Sagemcom DIW7022 (KPN tv+ box)

With WIFI you only can use the normal WIFI channel, always by your own KPN network.

I dont use KPN tv. I use guruiptv and the way its connected is via a device (provided by guruiptv) a HDMI cables goes to TV from this device. TV is connected via wifi and also this device is connected via wifi. But the device page screen error out saying network not connected 

Sorry, but I don't know wat Guruiptv is.

Is this from KPN?

For else, you have to ask the maker (or??) for Guruiptv.

Welcome to the community ​@ajaykumar. The Guruiptv is something we don't offer, therefor we are not very familiar with it and are limited in our options to help. If it doesn't work on Wifi, it might me a setting in the device. Have you tried connecting it via an ethernet cable (that's the UTP cable Joop mentioned). From what I could find on Google, the Guruiptv should have an Ethernet port to try that.

If that also doesn't work, I would also recommend contacting Guruiptv themselve.

This is a device from a company in china. And my question is not related to offering of the device

here is my question 

since 2 days this device is not able to connect to wifi, i have also tried with ethernet cable and it doesn’t work either however it works with hotspot with my mobile . Device page says network cant be connected, keep in mind it was working fine before 2 days. It tells me may be kpn has blocked something over wifi or internet because strangely it works fine with wifi over hotspot with my mobile. 

It can be a setting, either in the device itself of in the modem. Maybe it needs a port opened for example. Since we're not familiar with this device, it's difficult to say for us. Mayhe the manual can tell you more about that.

I think this is illegal IPTV.

They are saying its legal. I have a question, there is a url , how can i check of verify if this is blocked by KPN of if there is a possibility to allow this url to work

I don't know if it's legal or not, but our options are still limited  in this situation. If there is an url you can try to access it in a browser. We don't block random url's, there are some that are blocked, on court order. I don't think gutuiptv falls under that. The manual I refered you to earlier can still help you I think.

thanks for the suggestion. here is what I checked and confirmed. there is specific url for the device which is not working in a browser too. I use KPN Box 12

Interestingly today I checked with friend wifi network who fortunately use KPN network too and this url worked there. the only difference i see is he is having experia box V10.

this clearly tells me this Url is not blocked by the network but may be specifically by this modem/router.  do you have any suggestion if i should request to KPN for sending me experia box V10 or if there is any setting i can change to allow this url to work

The modem itself doesn't block websites, and when you try to replace it you get a simular model. So that won't make a difference. It can be a setting like mentioned before, it could be a firewall setting in the modem, or maybe that site doesn't support IPv6. Both settings you can change in the modem. 

Can you please help me where I need to change. I dont see firewall settings in console and i can confirm site doesn’t support IPV6

I don't have any other suggestions. As I mentioned before, our options are limited with devices we don't offer. We've tried those options, without success, You could contact guruiptv and maybe they have a new suggestion for you. We can't help any further.
