How do I connect a Unifi Gateaway fiber to my Box 12?

I would like to connect a Unifi Gateaway Fiber to my KPN Box 12 and have two question regarding the TV+Box and foreign channels. 

1. The LAN connection would be KPN Box 12 ---- Unifi Gateaway Fiber ----- Switch ------TV+Box. According to other posts I would need to use the IPTV skript? It does not work without a skript? But it would work with the skript?
2. At the moment (also in the apps) some foreign channels are only available when I am in my home network. Do Apps/KPN still recognize the “home network” when a Unifi Gateaway is connected in between?
