My server is not obtaining an IP address after switching from Odido to KPN

Good afternoon KPN community,

 

I am new at KPN, coming from ODIDO and connecting my new routeur this morning was easy, until i tried to reach out to my server (running on openmediavault) without success.

Relaunching the server, disconnectig the LAN won’t change a thing.

I logged into the KPN router page and i see that there is no IP associated with my server. 

Any clue?

Does your server have a fixed IP address ? KPN is in the 192.168.2.x range.

Perhaps Odido was in the 192.168.1.x range ??

Yes i need to find a way to retrieve the good IP from the router. Oddly it sees my server but not allowing an IP.

What was the internal IP for that server when you had Odido? Did you assign it a static IP or did it get one from dhcp of the router?

(You did restart the server to let it retrieve the new IP?)

Even by restarting the server, the new IP was not detected, I managed to connect to my server directly and push for an update of the IP using the firstaid app on OMV. 

And now everything is working.
